Elizabeth Gillies, an American singer-songwriter and actress. Her most famous roles include playing Lucy in musical 13, and Jade West, in Nickelodeon's Victorious. Her first appearance was in commercials. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her debut appearance on television. In the Nickelodeon show Victorious in which she was Jade West between 2010 and 2013. In 2010 she was nominated to the Critics Choice Movie Awards for the best young actress for her role in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The film received acclaim in 2011 due to her role as a lead in the sci-fi action film Super 8 which earned her a Spotlight Award at the Hollywood festival of thrillers. She played the title role in We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
