Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as drama and opera. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young student and professional. Following her move into the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Her passion for singing, music as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a educator. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft.
