Madhuri dixit Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress who is famous for her role in Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most adored Indian actors. The actress began her career in the her twenties. The character she played in Tezaab Anil Kapoor in the Tezaab film earned her an enormous amount of attention. In the following film, she starred in the film Dil where she co-starred on the screen alongside Aamir Khan. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she started learning dance in the early years of her life. She ventured into acting as a youngster and struggled for some years, as many of her initial films were flops. Her career eventually took off and she was able to establish herself as one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film industry. The actress took a break from her profession following her wedding, before returning to the world of entertainment. She was recently the main character in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for an additional fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her involvement in the social sector is well-known.
