Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teens she has also delved into different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the sound of the young singer as sassy and sweet and grit. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was that was released in the year 2018, and has been a commercial and critical success. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she got an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as a Latin Grammy nod. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami, her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was launched following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first female to receive both awards.
